Bar Designs
If you give special attention to your basement, it will become your favorite room, a room in which you can relax or enjoy your hobbies. If you like bars, start searching for the right bar design that will suit your basement. There are many ideas and plans for designing your bar. However, there are five main bar designs that are more common in people’s basements.
The Straight bar. This is a simple kind of design, just like the name. Its appearance resembles a receipt desk from hotels, but what is different is the desk’s function. The bar has a special place for the sink, someplace on top, a stool side providing a foot rest, an area where bartenders mix drinks, a space where the cooler is found and an arm rail. The custom sizing of this kind of bar can be about 6 feet to 10 feet in length. When installing the bar, make sure you have the right measurements.
The L-shaped bar. This set up has the same materials and features as the standard bar. What differs from it is the design, especially the form, which looks like a big letter L. In addition, if you choose to have this design in your basement, it will be better for you and your friends to socialize while sitting, because the chairs ar closer than astatine the standard one. Regarding the measurements, you still need to pay attention so that the bar will fit.
The Keggar bar. This type of configuration gained a huge popularity over time. If you look at it from the top, it will look like a square which is missing one third. The main idea of its shape is two L shaped bars put together or a big letter U. What gives the name of the bar is the big space used for the beer keg and also for the refrigerator.
The Monster bar. Made with regular materials, this design is equipped with a beer gutter, a keg and all the other features that compose a bar. What makes it special and from where the name comes, is the huge size in which can be placed lots of seats, surrounding a big drinking area. It is really a combination of the Keggar and the L-shaped bar, but much bigger in size. If you want, you can also design it in the shape to fit your whole basement.
The Portable bar. Usually, basement bars are big and heavy and cannot be moved whenever you feel like it. So if you prefer to move the bar maybe in another(a) room, you might want to consider installing a Portable bar. This one can also be disassembled. So far, it is thought to be the best innovative bar when it comes to the industry of cellar bars.
Besides these, there are a lot more designs. If you have imagination you can even design you own bar. It is not really hard. You only need to know the standard features of a bar, the functions, and create a configuration of your own taste.
